Parking Policy

Community Parking & Traffic Rules
Amended
October 11, 2007

  1. The speed limit on all streets in our community is 25 mph. Violators may be subject to an Annapolis Police Department speeding citation and points on their driver’s license.

  2. Parking must be in marked spaces and only one vehicle may occupy each space. No more than two vehicles may occupy a driveway and must not overhang into the street.

  3. Parking on any street in the community other than in marked spaces is prohibited. (If loading and unloading items from your vehicle, you must have vehicle four ways flashing and are limited to 20 minutes or your vehicle may be towed.)

  4. Only vehicles displaying valid handicapped license plate or permit may park in marked handicapped spaces.

  5. The following vehicles are prohibited to be parked anywhere in the community:

  • Expired tagged

  • Improperly tagged

  • Untagged

  • Junk

  • Unregistered

  • Inoperable

This includes vehicles parked in any driveway or yard.

  1. Vehicular maintenance and/or repairs are prohibited anywhere in the community. (This included the basic oil change.)
    7. Commercial & Government vehicles are prohibited to be parked in the community unless displaying an approved HOA permit. (Excluding commercial vehicles providing a service and working on site.)
     

► It is your responsibility as a homeowner to inform your guest of the rules.◄

  1. Parking on any grass areas, sidewalks, and crosswalks is prohibited at all times. (This includes all yards and common areas.)

  2. Parking in marked guest spaces is limited to (48) forty-eight hours.

  3. All reserved parking spaces are all owned by Annapolis Walk HOA and are to be used by the house number marked in that space.

  4. Portable storage units must be registered and approved by the HOA (i.e. PODs, Door to Door, SmartBox, etc.) Any unapproved unit is subject to removal and will be impounded at the homeowner’s expense.

  5. ATV, dirt bikes, motorized scooters or any other unregistered motorized vehicles are prohibited to be ridden anywhere in the community.

Vehicles in violation of these rules may be towed and impounded at the owner’s risk and expenses. If vehicle is impounded contact ABC Transport & Towing, 1177 Patuxent Road, Odenton, MD 21113 at 410-729-5400. Towing fees are payable in cash only and are not to exceed $500.
 

IMPORTANT NOTE

It is your responsibility as a homeowner to inform your guest and/or your tenants of these rules.
If you see a vehicle in violation of these rules, you are encouraged to anonymously report your findings in detail to the HOA’s Hotline at (410) 990-1150. (If there is no answer, please leave a detailed message), Do not call the towing company; they only take direction from the Board of Directors and ProCom.
